A Fresh, Independent Voice for Albanians Abroad
Fighting for Your Rights. Strengthening Our Nation.

About Ervin Toro
A Journey of Dedication
Born in Fier, Albania, I moved to New York in 1997, barely escaping the civil unrest that shook Albania. Adjusting quickly to my new life, I embraced the American education system, completing high school before earning a degree in International Management from Pace University. Later, I pursued an Executive MBA in Executive Management at Wagner College to further enhance my leadership and strategic skills.
A Dedicated Advocate for the Albanian Community
During my college years, I became deeply involved in Albanian activism, working tirelessly to preserve and promote our culture. I co-founded Albanian Roots – Rrënjët Shqiptare, a nonprofit organization that fosters Albanian heritage and unity. Through this platform, I helped organize:
- The Albanian Parade in New York, one of the largest diaspora celebrations of Albanian culture.
- Cultural festivals and art shows showcasing Albanian traditions and talent.
- Community picnics and networking events to unite and empower Albanian youth.

Entrepreneurial Impact: Strengthening Albanian Identity
Beyond activism, I sought creative ways to celebrate and elevate Albanian identity. I founded Shq1pe Co., the first Albanian-American clothing brand, designed to inspire pride and unity among Albanians worldwide. Shq1pe Co. is more than just apparel—it’s a movement that symbolizes resilience, heritage, and the enduring spirit of our people.
I also created Red Line Talk Show, a groundbreaking podcast dedicated to highlighting influential voices within the Albanian community. Through in-depth interviews with artists, entrepreneurs, and leaders, Red Line serves as a platform to share success stories, discuss important issues, and strengthen our collective presence in the media.
A Proven Global Leader
Professionally, I built a successful career in the corporate world as a Global HR Professional, managing international and domestic relocation services for employees and their families. Over 17 years, I have worked with major companies such as Siemens, Samsung, Sony, and Standard Chartered, developing expertise in international business, policy, and global strategy.
Why I’m Running
My journey has given me a deep understanding of the challenges Albanians face abroad—from staying connected to their homeland to having a say in its future. I want to bring a fresh, independent voice to Albanian politics, ensuring the diaspora is recognized, respected, and represented. Through my work in activism, business, and media, I am committed to empowering Albanians everywhere and creating meaningful change for our community.
My Vision for Albania
A stronger, more connected Albania, empowered by its global diaspora.
Key Issues I Will Fight For :
- Voting Rights & Representation for the Diaspora – Ensuring Albanians abroad have a voice in decision-making.
- Easier Investment Opportunities – Cutting bureaucracy to make it easier for Albanians to invest and start businesses in Albania.
- Protecting Our Identity & Culture – Expanding support for Albanian language education and cultural initiatives abroad.
- Strengthening Albania’s Economy – Encouraging diaspora contributions to fuel economic growth and job creation.
